I’m an artist centering on beauty in these harrowing times. How do we ground ourselves amidst our collective feelings of helplessness and despair?

I document invisible work, use my female body as a tool, make records of performance and meditate on motherhood. Lately, I’ve been painting larger-scale, on-canvas works centering on beauty, California-inspired sensory and intuition. And-I’m just starting a series of small, intimate, hand-sewn sequins on linen pieces.

I live and work just north of San Francisco with my two boys.
